Marshaling Information

Hi all you nice people,

If you would like to come and marshal at Stormin’ this year we have included a marshal registration form for you to and download and fill in ( Word doc format). DOWNLOAD FORM.
Please remember to enclose a cheque for £22 and a passport size photo and post to:

Marshals Information

  • ALL REGISTRATION FORMS MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE THE 17th AUGUST 2008 AS NONE WILL BE ACCEPTED ON SITE.

  •  TROPHIES WILL BE AWARDED TO THE INDIVIDUAL MARSHAL AND THE CLUB WORKING THE MOST HOURS OVER BUILD UP AND THE EVENT ITSELF.

  • IF YOU HAVE VOLUNTEERED FOR SET UP YOU WILL BE CONTACTED BEFORE THE EVENT TO CONFIRM YOUR ARRIVAL TIME AND DATE; ALL OTHER MARSHALS MAY ARRIVE FROM THURSDAY ONWARD AS THERE WILL BE NO CATERING AVAILABLE BEFORE THAT TIME.

  •  IF YOU ACCURATELY COMPLETE THE TIMES YOU ARE AVAILABLE TO WORK IT WILL ENABLE ME TO HAVE SHIFTS WORKED OUT IN ADVANCE. PLEASE DO NOT COMMIT YOURSELF TO SHIFTS IF YOU MAY NOT HAVE ARRIVED ON SITE BY THAT TIME.

  •  PLEASE ALSO STATE IF THERE ARE ANY TIMES YOU WILL DEFINITELY BE UNABLE TO WORK E.G FRIENDS & FAMILY TIME, FAVORITE BAND ETC.

  •  PLEASE INFORM MARSHALS CONTROL ON ARRIVAL ON SITE SO THAT THE APPROPRIATE PASSES CAN BE ISSUED.

  •  THE MARSHALS CAMPING AREA IS A RESTRICTED AREA, IF YOU ARE WISHING TO CAMP THERE AND HAVE A PARTNER WHO IS NOT MARSHALLING THEY MUST STILL COMPLETE A MARSHALS APPLICATION FORM AND BRING A PHOTO AND CHEQUE OR THEIR PRE-BOOK TICKET.

  •  PHOTOGRAPHS MUST BE PROVIDED FOR ALL MARSHALS AND CHILDREN. WE HAVE NO FACILITY TO TAKE PHOTOS ON SITE THIS YEAR.

  •  PLEASE LET MARSHALS CONTROL KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY MEDICAL CONDITION YOU FEEL WE SHOULD BE AWARE OF OR ANY PARTICULAR SKILLS THAT MAY BE USEFUL TO US.

  •  THERE WILL BE A BRIEFING SESSION ON THURSDAY EVENING FOR THOSE ABLE TO ATTEND AND FURTHER SESSIONS AS REQUIRED OVER THE WEEKEND.

  • TEA AND COFFEE IS FREE TO MARSHALS DURING THEIR SHIFTS, A SMALL CHARGE TO COVER COSTS WILL BE MADE AT OTHER TIMES.

  •  THE MARSHALS PARTY ON SUNDAY NIGHT IS FOR EVERYONE WHO HAS WORKED TO RELAX AND UNWIND BUT THE COMMITTEE WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE ASSISTANCE GETTING IT SET UP ON THE SUNDAY AFTERNOON AS MOST WILL ONLY HAVE HAD MINIMAL SLEEP OVER THE WEEKEND!

  •  NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED ON SITE

  •  IF YOU HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT A PRE-BOOK TICKET PLEASE STATE THIS ON YOUR FORM, DO NOT INCLUDE A CHEQUE AND YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR REFUND ON THE SUNDAY, DEPENDANT ON YOUR HAVING WORKED THE REQUIRED HOURS.
