1.
What is the cut off date for pre book tickets? top
The cut off date is postal tickets is Wednesday 6th August. Any requests for tickets that arrive at the PO Box after this date will be returned. This is to ensure that all cheques are cleared before the event. The cut off date for credit card bookings is Wednesday 27th August Car permits are only available through the credit card line.

2.
What happens if I don’t have a pre booked ticket? top
Ticket numbers are restricted. If there are any left after the cut off date, they will be available on the gate for £30 – BUT ONLY TO THOSE ARRIVING ON BIKES OR TRIKES!

3.
What happens if all ‘on the gate’ tickets are sold? top
Sorry, but you won’t be able to get in to the rally. In previous years tickets have sold out and the gate has closed. Pre booking is strongly advised.

4.
Can I buy tickets anywhere else? top
Adult tickets will be available for cash only from Hunters Motorcycles & A-Z Stickers on Westgate hill, Newcastle, and Durham Bikes, Esh Winning between Saturday 5th July and Saturday 30th August. Unfortunately tickets will not be available at Durham Bikewise this year (which takes place on Sunday 27th July 2008)

5.
Can I arrive as a pedestrian? top
No. You must arrive in a car with a pre booked permit or on a bike/trike

6.
Could I park nearby then walk to the site? top
No. No pedestrian access.

7.
Can I be dropped off by a friend/ taxi? top
No. No pedestrian access.

8.
But I have a pre booked ticket! top
No pedestrian access, even for pre booked ticket holders

9.
Can I buy a car permit through the PO Box? top
No. Numbers are strictly limited and selling them through the cc line enables us to keep a close check on numbers sold.

10.
Can I buy a car-parking permit on the gate? top
Parking permits are pre book only and will not be available after the cut off date.

11.
Does the car permit include camping and admission to the rally? top
No. Prebook tickets are needed by ALL occupants of the car

12.
What happens if I break my wristband? top
Come to the cabin at the main gate & bring your wristband with you.

13.
Can I bring my dog? top
Animals are not allowed on site.

14.
Can I come and camp on Thursday? top
The main gate opens at 10.00am on Friday 5th September. No camping will be available on the rally site before that time.

15.
Can I come to the rally just for the Saturday and pay less? top
This is a weekend event and there are no day tickets.

16.
Can I bring a gazebo? top
Yes, as long as it doesn’t obstruct firebreaks and access roads. Communal gazebos are becoming more popular and reduce the amount of camping space for individual tents. We reserve the right to clear space if necessary.

17.
Can I bring my own beer? top
We would prefer you to support the bars on site. Your ticket fee just about covers the cost of running the event. We rely on bar profits to raise the donation to MAG. No slabs of alcohol are to be brought in by car.
WE WILL STOP IT BEING CARRIED ON TO THE SITE. Please do not bring glass on site-the field is used by livestock at various times of the year.

18.
Where is Stormin' to be held this year? top
The new site is alongside the A688 at Streatlam between Staindrop and Barnard Castle. Due to there being no buildings on the site there is no postcode available. Click here for a link to google maps

19.

No.

20.
Do I have to pre book to enter the bike show? top
No, just arrive at the show area on the day.

21.

Send a copy of your blue badge & sae to PO Box 293, Durham DH1 4XS

22.
How will I manage if I am disabled? top
Disabled car parking is free, but must be pre-booked by the cut off date (Sunday 5th August). A blue badge belonging to one of the occupants must be displayed on the car. All car passengers MUST have a pre booked ticket. We don’t allow cars into the disabled camping area unless there are specific medical needs and we need to be notified with the car parking permit application if this is needed. If anybody needs help to carry camping gear etc, please ask one of the marshals or come to the cabin at the main gate.

23.
